Hi,
We have measure Dimension, which requires to maintain the folder structure hierarchy. Lets say for example we have YTD measures, it should be put in a grouped folder as 'All YTD' and for cost measures under a separate folder. According to me we can create the levels in hierarchy properties cube but not the folder level structure. Any ideas ??
Thanks in Advance

Re: Measure Dimension - creating folder structure
I assume you are trying to create a Transformer-like measure dimension where measures are grouped into measure folders for organization purposes.
Well in TM1 there are just dimensions. You can create a hierarchy in the measure dimension if you like to group measures together.
You may need to use cube rules if you don't want measure values to show up under your "consolidated" nodes in the dimension.
There is no extra metadata that allows you to make a measure appear as a folder in BI studios.

Re: Measure Dimension - creating folder structure
There is no such thing as a folder in a multi-dimensional tool like TM1. I am assuming you are talking about grouping nodes under a common parent (with the parent being called a "folder"). If you don't know how to create parents and put nodes under them then you need to read the manual and/or take a training class. This is about as elementary as you can get with the tool. No one is going to waste their time with someone so lazy they can't bother to read a manual or take a training class.
