Timeout

Post by azara »

Hi,
I have to verify the timeout for all TM1 Clients and I was wondering if here was already a discussion about this or not.
What I defined so far is:
1. tm1s.cfg (IdleConnectionTimeOutSeconds)
2. web.config (timeout value and httpRuntime executionTimeout)
3. IIS (Connection timeout for default web site)

Does all the clients timeout?I would like to know, if there is a timeout for:
- TM1 Performance Modeler
- TM1 Architect
- Cafe
- Perspective
- TM1 Apps

The tm1s.cfg parameter is server side and so should impact all threads and their respective clients.

Not sure if this is still an issue but once upon a time I had a problem where TM1 Web kept timing out long before all standard configurations should have caused it to... eventually changed the IIS setting for maximum number of worker processes to 1 instead of whatever it was and that seemed to resolve the issue. So not necessarily one to do but just something to look out for which I thought I would mention in case anyone stumbles across this in the future.

Hi,

can anyone confirm if the httpRuntime executionTimeout is relevant to Planning Analytics and if not what governs this now?
