10.1.1 Performance Modeler
Hi all, I am new to Contributor/TM1 Web apps. I created a new Approval based application with 2 websheets and an approval hierarchy. The approval hierarchy is a dimension subset which has 6000 elements. When I click on Validate application, Perf Modeler just hangs forever.I waited for 3 hours and killed it. Has anyone ever seen this ? Could it be because the approval hierarchy is too large?

Definitely. Do you really plan to have 6000 leaf nodes for entering data and approval by human beings? Wow.

No , the users will submit at consolidated levels but we are forced to have the bottom level as part of the approval hierarchy due to the approval hierarchy selection rule "all consolidated members must have their children included"

Just throwing an idea…can you replace your current approval hierarchy dim (with 6000 elements) to another dimension that has elements such as user1, user2, user3 etc. Make that new dim an approval hierarchy.

Another follow up question - you are using websheets - are they based on Active Forms?
Can you use cube views to achieve the same outcome?
Overflow.
