Insert 100 rows 20 columns cells from Excel to Contributor performed in 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Saving data (commit) takes 2 minutes 30 seconds.
Total 7 minutes by copying and storing the values of 2000 cells from Excel!
Is this normal?
Cube, where I insert values from Excel is empty. Cube doesn't contain rules.
Cognos Express 10.2.1.

As a starting point out of interest how long does it take if you do a repeat data spread to that sort of number of cells?
Are there a lot of rules calculated off the back of this input, if so have skipcheck and feeders been used to best effect?

Try to install FixPack 1. It seems may help.
