New dimension is not visible in }HierarchyProperties cc

Post by Tibor »

Hi All,

Created a new 'Date_Rpt' dimension in Architect with TI process. I would like to set the hierarchy levels to this 'Date_Rpt' dimension for Cognos BI reporting.

Problem: the dimension is not visible in }HierarchyProperties control cube. ( It is visible in "all" subset of the "}Dimensions" dimension. Restarted the TM1 services, and no zero suppression by cube view.)

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for all answers.

}Dimensions is the dimension for }HierarchyProperties cube. if you can see it in the }Dimensions, it should show in the cube. Could you post a snapshot?
In TM1,the answer is always yes though sometimes with a but....

When looking at the }HierarchyProperties control cube, are you looking at a named (saved) view? If so, could it be that the new dimension entry is just not yet included in the displayed subset on the "}Dimensions" dimension in that view? To correct this, open the subset editor from the view and click All to display all elements - save the view again to make the selection permanent.
When talking about Zero Suppression - could it be that you have zero suppression active on rows only (not directly visible on the zero suppression icon in the Cube Viewer)?
