TM1 installation for Excel 2010

Hi all,
Thanks for viewing this post. We have TM1 installed some time back on excel 2003. now we are in process of converting excel 2003 to excel 2010. Now we have selected TM1 file in reference window in vba excel but macros are not running. we are getting error as --"Runtime error 1004: Cannot run macro "N_Disconnect"
kindly let me know do I need to install TM1 on our machine again. or any other procedure needs to be done.

You may need to ensure you have fully uninstalled excel 2003 before reinstalling 2010

In addition, which version are you using? Is it supported/ compatible with Excel 2010?

Thanks for your reply. we have installed excel 2010 in new machine with win 7 from where we are opening this excel file.

I am not aware of which TM1 is there with us on old machine. In old machine, When I go to reference window of VBA editor for our excel file. we get reference name as "Applix TM1 Cube viewing controls for excel"and it points to file c:\TM1s9\bin\tm1xl.ocx

Kindly let me know how to know version? is it 9 from above directory name?


I just found from TM1 10.1.1 installation guide that we need to install TM1 Client-only to have TM1 API files to be installed for VBA code.
check 21 page.

Kindly check attached same file. let me know if this is what we need to install for all versions?
