We recently added the 32-bit client to our 64-bit Windows 7 image. When I try to run the TM1 exe I get the following error:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ibm\cognos\tm1\bin\tm1a.exe
The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail
I know this error typically indicates that a file(s) from the Miscrosoft Visual C++ is missing.
Currently the PC in question has the following Visual C++ packages installed:
2008 x64 9.0.30
2008 x86 9.0.30
2010 x64 10.0.3
2010 x86 10.0.3
Any information on this would be appreciated.
