Security: Limit users to access Dimension elements in cube.

Hi Team,

I have a requirement where i need to limit the access to users for certain dimension elements .
Destination.
Company
Business.

All cubes are reporting cubes that are published to the cognos connection.
Users need to access only dimension elements that they have access.
Users need to View/input only to the dimension elements that they have access to.

My Though was to create a table(Cube) with users and Destination.
Mark Y/N to the intersections.
Create a cube security cube.
Create a rule in Cube security cube.

Please help me ...
The right approach.
Performance impacts.

I'm not being funny, but have you gone through setting up TM1 security in the manuals, say for instance element level security? Also you've not really us how your security is setup. Without any detail how are we supposed to help you? We can only presume (as first mentioned) that you haven't even read the manuals,
