TM1 rules or Feeders problem or Hierarchy

Post by dilip »

In my cube 'ABC' I have hierarcy like under Split-AC there is SplitAC-Retail and Split AC-SSD and under SplitAC-Retail there are 2 child Ret indoor and Ret outdoor and under Split AC SSD there are child 'SSD-indoor' & 'iamSSD-outdoor'.But in my cube when Iam pulling the values in a cell from other cube 'IJK' via rules.

Note:-the hierchy in the cube 'IJK' is like under 'Split AC' there are 2 childs indoor and outdoor only

Iam not able to see the value at Split AC SSD and Split AC Retail but at all the other levels Iam seeing the correct value:
see some code you might understand
Below is the sample code:-

['IBP_CY(Qty)','SSD Indoor']=DB('IJK',!Version,'Seasonality SPSA Idea','Indoor',!Branches,'IBP_CY(Qty)',!Months)*DB('Split AC distribution',!Branches,!Version,'Split AC Target Dist RM Idea','Split AC SSD');
['IBP_CY(Qty)','SSD Outdoor']=DB('IJK',!Version,'Seasonality SPSA Idea','Outdoor',!Branches,'IBP_CY(Qty)',!Months)*DB('Split AC distribution',!Branches,!Version,'Split AC Target Dist RM Idea','Split AC SSD');
['IBP_CY(Qty)','Retail Indoor']=DB('IJK',!Version,'Seasonality SPSA Idea','Indoor',!Branches,'IBP_CY(Qty)',!Months)*DB('Split AC distribution',!Branches,!Version,'Split AC Target Dist RM Idea','Split AC Retail');
['IBP_CY(Qty)','Retail Outdoor']=DB('IJK',!Version,'Seasonality SPSA Idea','Outdoor',!Branches,'IBP_CY(Qty)',!Months)*DB('Split AC distribution',!Branches,!Version,'Split AC Target Dist RM Idea','Split AC Retail');

Iplesae suggest.

You haven't posted any feeders, so you probably haven't written any - especially since you haven't used n: in the rules.
Seems to me (from your other posts) that you are way out of your depth here. See my other post - your employer is not servicing your client adequately.

Hi,
ithink you are treating your users badly and please read the question carefully what iam asking the question is i want the value at consolidated level not at base level so u are telling me to put n: level.

Iam not getting a proper response via this forum.

Then I think in this case you would be perfectly justified in not paying the support invoice when it arrives. :roll:

Tomok, I couldn't have put it better myself. Dilip you need to realize that is a forum where people go out if their way to help you. This is not a forum run by IBM, it is run purely by willing volunteers who have a day job and help where and when they can. You should be grateful for any help you get. I know David's response was a little raw but he is only getting frustrated with the way you treating the people on here. If you want an urgent response to an issue, find the right consultant / company to help you, otherwise please stop self promoting your questions and please read the guide for requesting help so it makes easier for us to help you. Posting giberish and then prompting for an urgent response isn't help anybody on here,

Jim.
