Hi,
I have a symbol that is appearing in an application folder but only in my TM1 profile, other users don't see this symbol.
When I click on it, it says "Cannot find object ..... on server ...... Would you like to delete this reference? "
Does anyone know how I could remove this object? Answering "Yes" to the above question doesn't achieve anything, the object stays behind.
This is specific to my login, other users don't see this.
Any ideas?
thanks.

I'd suggest taking a look in the applications folder in the data directory assuming that you have access to it. If you can't get rid of the thing normally just delete it in there. Doesn't explain why you're seeing that when others aren't, assuming that you are all on the same language settings, but at least it'll solve the problem.JamiseBondi wrote:Hi,

The other thing to consider is whether you are in fact all really seeing the same object, as opposed to you seeing, say, a private object with a similar name.
Also, if that name is what it appears to be (with an = sign in it), I would recommend dumping the non-alphanumeric characters. I've long maintained that they are nothing but potential, unpredictable trouble in object names.
"To them, equipment failure is terrifying. To me, it’s 'Tuesday.' "

Hi Alan,
Thanks for the ideas. It was a .blob file in the applications folder with exactly the same name as it appeared in the screenshot, thanks for that - you nailed it.
