Analysis studio reports issue with TM1 cube

Post by naree »

Team,
I am getting issues while using TM1 cube as a datasource for cognos Analysis studio reports.
I have a cube with 7 dimensions which includes 1 measure dimension and 1 month dimension. i set the hierarchies in Hierachies control cubes for the dimension levels and imported the cube in cognos frameowrk manager.
while trying to create Analysis studio report using this cube, for two dimensions, it's showing folder icon instead of levels icon. i can't drag and drop these two dimension levels because of this issue.
Please see below screenshot in analysis studio:
Reg, Voy dimensions are displaying with folder icons instead of levels icons. where as other dim's are showing correctly as levels.

Anyone has faced similar issue?

Do you have more than one top node for those dimensions? Have you set the name of for the level in the HierarchyProperties cube?

Yes, we have 5 levels in reg dimension and only two levels in Voy dimension. also we have set the level names in Hierarchy properties controle cube.
Still the folder icon is coming, but how come the other dim's are working correctly and only the two dim's are showing folder icons.

Its not the levels that creates that. If you have more than one TOP NODE. To the server this means you have more than one hierarchy and therfore it becomes difficult for it to represent so it shows it in a folder to represent more than one item.
