XMLA

Post by HLEBOEUF »

I've seen several topics on the web where it says that TM1 is XMLA complient.
If so, what is the url to adress it.

If our TM1Web is http://someserver/TM1Web/ ....

Are you talking about this XMLA? Can you provide those website references? I beleive that information would be incorrect.

You can use the ADOMD (not ADOMD.NET) library from e.g. Excel VBA - but that library is not URL-addressable in the way you are suggesting.

Thx for the info, it had to be refecenable by URL to use in a reporting tool we are testing.
For now we did all our reporting in TM1Web / Excel and Executive Viewer, but we wanted to get rid of to much mixture.
I know it is possible as Cognos BI encapsulates all of them in one reporting.
But we would prefer not to use Cognos 10 BI ...
