Hi All,
If a TM1 server is hosted on unix OS (AIX), and if it is getting crashed but not generating any core dumps, how to obtain the TM1 crash dumps for it ?
For Windows, we can configure Adplus / Dr. Watson.. but what about unix (AIX) Os ?
btw, we are running a TI process to import and write the data to TM1 cube, when the TM1 server crashes.
Thanks...

It's a configuration as part of the install / startup script as far as I am aware. The dumps themselves then land within the data directory of the service that crashed.

Might be worth working out _why_ the server's crashing. Is memory using rising beyond physical and swap, possibly because your feeders aren't right?

David,
It does depend heavily on the version. In my last job we 8.4.2 running on Unix and it was very dodgy indeed. It crashed an awful lot. We ended up sending our memory dumps to IBM to be analyised. It was a very helpful process. I guess some more details from our friend may help us,
Jim.
