Hi
I am trying to uninstall 9.4 but i getting the following error.
Error 1921. Service () could not be stopped. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to stop system services.
I know that i have seen this before but i cant remember how to fix it. I have full admin rights.
No tm1 service is running including the admin service, and i dont have any other apps open.
Have restarted as well but it gives the same error.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Uninstall 9.4
are both the service and the admin server stopped, definately? If so, try manually removing the services from windows before running the uninstaller, i think the details for that are in the "useful code" section.
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

Re: Uninstall 9.4
What has happened is that your registry entries for TM1 have become corrupted during the uninstall.
Open a Service Request with Cognos and they'll send you a .reg file that will clean the dodgy entries out.

Re: Uninstall 9.4
Thanks, i managed to edit the registry and got it off. Have installed 9.1 again and everything seems fine now.
