Hi all,
Could you please recommend me some good tools, which can help the TM1 development? Currently I am working directly on Cognos TM1 9.4. The user interface is not so friendly. Especially Rules editor and TI editor.
Thanks.

I like Notepad++ with syntax highlighting but it's down to individual preference.
Versions from 10 plus include some (allegedly) more user friendly 'tools' then there is the Useful Code, tips and tricks area as well
Otherwise there are some commercial tools available which can be found in that area of the forum or via google searches

The answer to your question is no. While you can replace the Rules Editor with a nicer text editor, there is no comprehensive replacement for the user interface. You are stuck with it unless you want to write one of your own.

There are other tools on the market that have been written specifically for this but on the most part they cost a pretty penny. (Check out the commercial forum for further details or do a search on Google.) Most people use the likes of notepad + (mentioned above) or just stick with with it already has.
