I have configured 2 servers in TM1 Application Configuration but neither are visible in 'My Applications'. The userid/password are the same for both servers.
Am I missing something ?

You don't provide much information visitor from the Great White North. You might want to check out the request for assistance guidelines and provide a bit of extra detail. In particular have contributor applications for the servers in question actually been created and deployed. If the answer to either of these is "no" then you are just seeing what you would reasonably expect.

Re: No Applications visible in TM1 Applications
A server is not an application. The server contains the model structure and the data. An application is a definition of how the users interact with the data in the servers. You need to do the application definition in Performance Modeler which you can open using one of the buttons in the top right hand corner. When you start Performance Modeler you will be asked to select one of the servers that you have added on which to work. Documentation for application definition can be found here.

Thanks, the deployment step is what I am missing I guess. Do I have to use Performance Modeler or can I deploy from Architect as well?

Do not be fooled. The "Applications" you build in Performance Modler and the "Applications" you see in the server object tree in Architect or Perspectives are not the same animal, in fact they don't even share any portion of the same DNA.ima_canuk wrote:Thanks, the deployment step is what I am missing I guess. Re: No Applications visible in TM1 Applications
Thanks for your reply. I am interested in creating an application that contains several cubes that I can distribute to users for entry using Contributor or possibly Cognos Insight. The 'model' was essentially built in Architect in v9.52 and now I would like to make it available as a TM1 Application. Do I have to create this application in Performance Modeler to make it available to Contributor/Cognos Insight or is there a way to leverage what was built in Architect.
Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Re: No Applications visible in TM1 Applications
The questions you are asking are very straightforward and you would know the answers had you spent a small ammount of time dabbling in the sample models and working through the available materials and manuals. Its time to stop abstracting and go from hyperthetical to practical. If you actually spend a few minutes using the application then the answer to your question should be obvious.ima_canuk wrote:Thanks for your reply. Could you point me in the directions of the samples and I will be on my way...
