Hello ALL
We have websheet and when i an trying to open it, TM1 web is giving an error as
"Cannot connect to TM1 ExcelServices : No connection can be made because the target machine actively refused it."
and when i checked it on TM1 server, Excel service is missing from Server Services list. 1 Day back it was listed there, so not sure what the reason.
Please let me know how to enable it again.
Thanks,
TM1 Excel Services - Missing

Re: TM1 Excel Services - Missing
Well, the first thing I would ask is how do you know it is missing? Are you looking at the list of ALL services, or just the list of services running under the account you are logged into the machine as? If you are sure it is the list of all services, and it is missing, your only option that I know of is going to be re-installing TM1.

Following Tomok's comment, if you can find the TM1 Excel Service you may just need to re-start it, even if it says it is running. I do a lot of demos on my PC and often get this message (not sure why maybe to do with IP address changing?); restarting the TM1 Excel Service fixes it.

Re: TM1 Excel Services - Missing
I am part of admin group on Server machine and I don see any service listed for TM1 Excel Service. Re-installing TM1 web I am kind of afraid doing that as we are in middle of UAT. Is there any other work around for it?

Re: TM1 Excel Services - Missing
Just to log another possible reason for this error message, even though my problem did not match this case completely:
I came across this error message this morning after the hardware team had replaced a network connector. The admin server name appeared in the TM1 web login screen, but the login button was greyed out.
It turned out to be an IP address conflict. I changed the IP address in tm1s.cfg, restarted the server, and the problem was solved.
