TM1 Function

Post by hpansar »

Hi Everyone

Im looking to build a rule that allows me to make the parent level equal to the child level. For example Child 1 and Child 2 have 19000 as a value, I would like to have the parent hold the same value and not consolidate the 19000 to be 38000. What is the function or rule to do this.

thanks

Hiten

Are you saying that values for the children will always be equal? Are you looking to create an average?

Hi Jim

Correct the child values will have the same values so if there are 5 children they will have the same value, so i need the parent to have the same value.

Then you need to set the parent to be the value of the first child. ELCOMP is the function you need for this,

Jim.
