Cannot add Client or Group

Hi All,

I am using TM1 9.5.2. My security mode = 1 in the cfg.

I am unable to add a client or group to the database. I get the error that navigation to the webpage was cancel.

Somewhere on my desktop(part of installation) I am missing something? Has anyone ever experienced a similar issue?

Any help will be appreciated.

Try the request for assistance guidelines. You can't expect anyone to be able to help you on this unless you specify which user interface you are trying to do this action.

Try to set AllowImportCAMClients to F in your tm1p.ini file

If you use Server Explorer with security mode 1 then this error is most probably because the config parameter above is set to T, trying to import clients and groups from the BI environment.
For further details, you can do a search for AllowImportCAMClients on this forum.

My situation is:
I do the self paced virtual class online course of IBM "TM1 10.1 Administer the technical environment".
After configuring tm1p.ini and tm1s.cfg with relecant parameters I double clicked the planning sample server in Architect to enter my credentials.
Now I get the error "Navigation to the Webpage was Canceled".
I have followed the instructions well and checked that of course after the error.
Nethertheless I would not like to wait for the IBM Support to solve this.

Do you have any suggestions?
Please consider that I cannot copy text from/to the IBM VM so just ask if you need more details/settings.

Steps I completed:
1. tm1s.cfg: defined Servername, AdminHost, ServerCAMURI, ClientCAMURI, ClientPingCAMPassport, IntegratedSecurityMode=2
2. tm1p.ini: defined AdminHost, AllowImportCAMClients=T, CognosGatewayURI
3. restarted planning sample
4. Architect: logged into planning sample and added user from NTLM namespace to TM1
5. set user rights to admin and MaxConnections to 5
6. save, exit and shutdown of planning sample
7. tm1s.cfg: defined IntegratedSecurityMode=5
8. restart planning sample
9. Architect: double click on planning sample --> small InternetExplorer-Window opens with "Navigation to the Webpage was Canceled"

Hi guys were you able to resolve it?

I have ran into a similar issue, except that I get the Cognos and AD groups/users web page dialogue rather than the navigation error. I have removed the AllowImportCAMClients parameter from tm1p.ini files as well as removed all gateway parameters from the server cfg files. My integratedMode parameter in server.cfg file is set 1.

I am running TM1 10.1.1 with Cognos BI 10.2 and Cognos insight 2.

Any help would be appreciated.
