This should have been posted in the Jobs forum http://www.tm1forum.com/viewforum.php?f=4
However you would also need to include in your post what country/region you are in as this is a global forum.

Apologies if it is a language issue but there seem to be contradictions in your question. How can you have your models set up and everything in place if you are only just thinking about using CX for budgeting? There is a big difference between installing the CX software and building a proper budgeting planning and reporting model.sh226 wrote:Hello All,
Currently we have following set up .. Cognos Express Xcelerator, advisor, Planner, Reporter installed and configured. All of our OLAP models has been built ......
We are thinking to use cognos tools for our budget planning and reporting so we have everything in place but we do not have extensive experience on how to use those tools...we do have basic knowledge of how to create connection to databases from express manager to advisor etc. so we need an expert who can train us how to use advisor, Planner, Reporter tools.
You can have training but that will not provide the experience for you to build a good TM1\CX system. Find a local partner in your region with a good track record in TM1 (experienced TM1 team, lots of TM1 clients, almost certainly a legacy Applix partner) and get them to provide training but ALSO engage them to help you with design and initial development at very least. You can then learn best practise and start building up your own experience.
Best of luck

Maybe they're currently using it for financial reporting and now want to start using the tool for something else too.stephen waters wrote:How can you have your models set up and everything in place if you are only just thinking about using CX for budgeting?

That is my guess as well, particularly giving previous posts. But it would be more helpful if the poster can be more explicit about what they have already set up and what they are looking to do.qml wrote: Maybe they're currently using it for financial reporting and now want to start using the tool for something else too.
Also, even if they have some cubes set up, there is a big difference between reporting and modelling.
