Hello everyone,
Is there a way how I can hide an application in tm1 explorer (excel plugin) and only show on the web?
I have some quality checks for users submitting data via tm1web, however, they should not be able to see the checks done in the background.
Thanks!
Philipp

Hi,
You should be able to achieve this by right clicking on the Application folder that contains the file/s and setting the User group/s to 'None' - using the standard TM1 security.
Hope this answers your question.
Cheers,

HI TM1Rules,
Would this also not hide the application from the tm1web treeview?

Application folder permission is like any other TM1 object: by group. It sounds like it's not a Client vs. Web issue, it's that one group should not see certain apps. If so, restrict access accordingly. If you really do need to restrict access via client, I'm not aware of a way to do this.talan wrote:Would this also not hide the application from the tm1web treeview?
