There is some overlap in the functionality between ODBO and TM1 Replication ('Rep n Sync') and was wondering if anyone had some guidance on when to use one versus the other for synchronizing objects/data between TM1 Servers.
Any guidance would be appreciated!

Hmmmm....
Devil....
Deep Blue Sea....
I'll be interested in other comments, but my take is that neither are usable. You could look at Ricky Marwan's Simple Replicate tool

Of course Performance Modeler supports promotion, but only if you build your system with it - and I don't know many TM1-ers who have gone down that yellow brick road, so far.

Re: ODBO vs Replication
Rep and down the sink for me. I've never had anything but trouble with it. I've not done much with ODBO but as David was saying I've only heard of issues with that as well. (On this very forum.)
