Issues in installing Cognos TM1 10.1.0

Hi,

I am facing an issue in installing TM1 10.1.0 . As per the TM1 installation guide, one of the pre-requisite for 10.1.0 is given as 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1-Redistributable Package'. Though i have installed all other pre-requisite components including 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1-Redistributable Package', i am gettning the error mentioned in the screenshot.

Any idea on this.

Hi,

As far as I remember we installed both the x86 and x64 redist packages but could not check it now.

To be safe I also installed both and continued to the get the message even after restarting.

I proceeded with the installation and we have been testing the system pretty thoroughly and have not noticed anything that is not working. I dont know if there is a flaw in their checking logic, but we were never able to get rid of the error.

Thanks guys. I will go ahead with the installation after installing both x86 and x64 version of Visual C++ package.

@George Regateiro Can you share the checklist for the setup that you have tested with. That would be of huge help to find any error in our step in case.
