TM1 workflow allows one user per task. TM1 Contributor allows one group per node. If using Workflow then you can create a TI process or two to assign a task to a different user.

Oliver,

Can you explain in detail what you mean
oliver sullivin wrote:assign a task to a different user.
Do you mean something like changing the user for the task?

Thanks in advance.

I evaluated TM1 Workflow for a customer years back. I ended up deciding it had way too many limitations to handle even a slightly complex process, so recommended a custom solution. It was also quite slow and crashed Excel frequently.

It was a long time ago, but I believe Oliver is correct, the ability to assign groups to a task instead of individual users was one of those limitations.

If I'm reading correctly, he seems to be suggesting you create two identical tasks and assign a user to each of them. This would work fine in the specific case of your two-user example, but would get unwieldy pretty quickly if you have many users and many tasks!
