Did you set up a TM1 application? Created input/output views?
Set up an approval hierarchy and managed rights?
Is it all working the way you expect it to work?

Sorry to reply late.Gregor Koch wrote:How about you demo the Demo contributor App?
I created the Demo App follow the "Contributor Administrator guide":dragged two views and put them under the VIEW,and dragged a Dimension subset under Approvals Hierarchy. After verified with no errors,I deployed, then I managed rights, but I don't what's to do next. Will you give me some advice or some materials about TM1?
Thanks anyway.

There are a few TM1 books available which include information on TM1 Contributer, otherwise speak to your managed provider about training or take one of the TM1 courses.
What do you need/ want it to do?

TM1 may be used on a project in our company,so I'm teaching myself about TM1 and no one can give me advice on it.Edward Stuart wrote:There are a few TM1 books available which include information on TM1 Contributer, otherwise speak to your managed provider about training or take one of the TM1 courses.

From the user manual:guoshock wrote:In fact,I don't really know what can the contributor application do.
So if your company is planning to use TM1/Contributor for planning/budgeting/forecasting or for consolidation with (lots of) manual data entry, the Contributor application is aimed at modelling the submission workflow of the 'contribution' process. If your company is looking to use TM1 for multidimensional analysis, loading data from f.i. a ledger and where no manual data entry is required, then you can forget about Contributor.IBM® Cognos® TM1® Contributor streamlines data collection and workflow management. It eliminates problems with errors, version control, and timeliness that characterize decentralized planning processes.
