Certification TM1 v10

Post by maiconkrip »

Hi.

I want to do the certification test for tm1 next week. But i wanna know if there is any problem in doing that,
because of release 10 of tm1. I think the test is on version 9.5 and i'm afraid to be necessary to do the certification again in the future.

P.S. Sorry about the English, i'm brazilian.

You may well need to do it again in the future; version 10 contains a great many new features, many of which are nothing more than "chrome" but which you'd still need to know how to deploy and implement if you want to make a crust from consulting on the product.

However that doesn't mean that your 9.5 certification will be worthless. The bulk of the engine is still the same, the essence of how you deploy the product on a server is still the same, Perspectives is still the same, the gods know that within Perspectives the freakin' TI editor is the same... it will still be worthwhile to have the 9.5 qualification, even if you have to later sit for a version 10 qualification. This is true of pretty much all software. No matter what qualification you do there will always eventually be a later version that you may need to re-qualify on.
