TM1 Web v10 didn't work

Post by PinkBubble »

Hi everyone,

I hv installed TM1 v10. Everything works well - from Architect, IBM Cognos Configuration, Perspective, & IBM Cognos Insight
The issue is on TM1 web, When i go to http://localhost/tm1web, the page shows Not Found - HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found.

Any idea?
Is it because I use windows 7 64 bit?

Thanks

Hi,

did you make sure to enable "IIS 6 Management Compatibility", when using IIS7?
This is new to 10.1 as I can't remember to have set on installation of older versions.
If that is not enabled prior to installation, the TM1Web virtual directories will not be installed.

Also TM1 Excel Service has to be started and the cgi extension has to be allowed in IIS.

Cheers

I'm getting this same error, and IIS 6 isn't enabled. Is there a way to get the virtual directories created without the 4 hours of uninstall/reinstall time?

You could enable v6 compatibility and then manually add applications in IIS for TM1Web and TM1WebEx but you'd be much safer (easier) just doing a re-install.
You can get the install to run a lot quicker if you disable your virus scanner first.
