TM1 10.1 problem with TM1web worksheets.. Anyone come across this?
First I had to http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg21503942
Then I get this and I can assure you those files do exist and no other application is using them. Shouldn't the path be a fully qualified web path rather than C:\..?

Re: TM1 10.1 TM1Web - websheets
Did you check (in task manager on the server) whether there's an Excel session hanging in the background, potentially locking the file?
Did you try to open the file directly with Excel to see whether you get an error message if you try?
Michel
PS, I moved the topic as it is not sure whether this is a bug

Did you try to open the file directly with Excel to see whether you get an error message if you try? Yes I can open the same file in excel by copying the link shown in the error message.

Re: TM1 10.1 TM1Web - websheets
It installs under Local System (get the error above), changed it to run under my personal Admin account and it WORKS. Thanks for the tip MR W.
But my preference would be to run it under Local System..

Unfortunately that error message isn't very helpful. It is recommended to always run Excel service as an actual account, not local system.
The 10.1 Installer doesn't include user login and password like 952, so there is extra configuration that is required after installation. This is documented in the installer guide (bullet 7):
