Customize dimension format

Is there a way to display numbers with . i/o , for thousends for exampel 1.000 (1k) i/o 1,000 (1k) and same for , i/o . for decimal numbers for exampel 0,5 i/o 0.5?

I quess I would need to write something in custom in dimension format?

You need to modify the attributes of the dimension you wish the formatting to sit on. Right-click on the dimension, Edit Element Attributes, and modify the format against each of the elements. Note that there are rules as to when the formatting will or won't work in a cube view, I suggest you check the Help guides.
