I have a weird one which I haven't encountered before, and can't find a reference to in a forum search. I was curious about whether anyone else has come up with it.
We're exporting values from some }ElementsAttributes cubes to a text file. This has been tried both through TI (using an "All" view as a data source) and also by directly right clicking on the cube and exporting.
Zero suppression is not used, consolidation suppression is not used.
On some, not all dimensions, we get empty strings for numeric attributes. It doesn't matter whether the attribute is populated with a non-zero value or not, it just comes out as an empty string.
On other dimensions, numeric attributes come out just fine.
Blowing away the }ElementAttributes cube and repopulating the whole cube made no difference.
If we zero suppress the view, we still get the rows which have non-zero numeric values... but again with empty strings as the value.
This was found (with the same dimensions) on both 9.0 SP3 and 9.5.2.
Has anyone else encountered this?
