We have published few excel applications through tm1 cube view. We took slice of cube view & then formatted those reports as per requirement & published them as excel application to users.
Now we have changed format of few numbers in cube (changed decimals), and we want to reflect that change in excel applicaton too. But we are not able to see that formatting change in excel application though its visible in cube.
Do I have to republish that view as excel again to show those changes to users? It is very difficult for me to republish all views again due to time constraint. Is there any other way to do this?

your change in TM1 and Excel are two differents things.
If you want a format in Excel, then you have to format your Excel Sheet cells.
Changing the format in TM1 dimension will affect your cube view only. Changing the format directly in view cube is worst.
