Excel 2007 column and rows
Excel 2007 expanded its row and column capabilities, however, TM1® Web does not support these expanded capabilities. The previous Excel 2003 row and column parameters are used in TM1 Web for this release.
I can't seem to see any where that states that this has changed for 9.5.2, can anyone confirm or deny whether it is possible to create files with more than 65k rows in 9.5.2?

Thanks
Hi, Iassume you are talking about a TM1 Excel slice with more than 65k rows. I can't help on the actual query but am interested in why you would want to do this. Normally TM1 users are trying to get away from having huge amounts of data in Excel!

Normal TM1 users != business users
They're slicing down a GL cube.....
Any user trying to slice out >65K rows is mis-using the tool. There is categorically no (valid) reason to do this. ... Of course there's always a reason, it's your job to find out what the actual business requirements would be that would drive someone to want to do this and then again your job to train the business users how to use the tool appropriately and efficiently.
Hi,
I did a check on 9.5.2 some days ago, it works now for both things, slicing more than 65k rows to Excel as well as having more than 65k rows in xdi-files.
9.5.1 did not support this when it was released, however I did not recheck every 9.5.1 Hotfix in the meantime.

Thanks Gabor - exactly what I needed to know!
I know best practice is to not require more than 65k rows... but sometimes while the full requirements are being established it can be a useful tool for the business.
