TM1 crashes using Citrix

We are upgrading to Tm1 9.5.2 and have an issue with TM1/Excel 2007 crashing when trying to close a cube view. We open server explorer, open an application, then open a cube view to search a cube, close the cube and Excel/TM1 crashes. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have a solution. We do not have this issue if we use the client locally. Thanks

Hey,

I don´t know about 2007, but we had similar issues with excel 2003 and the problem was different excel service packs on the client and on the citrix server. Install the latest excel updates..

This appeared just because you moved to 9.5.2?

---Edit: some users had tm1 access over citrix, some other local excel.. updates on both to the latest, helped with a less crashing experience.---

We are having the same problem with Excel 2003 and 9.5.1, though as we only use Citrix and cannot connect locally, I was not aware that Citrix might be the issue.

Cam: not clear to me why the local Excel version (if this what you mean by "client") would have any impact if you are working in Citrix. Can you explain?

I met the problem with a 9.4 TM1 version / Excel 2007 on Citrix.
The exact circumstances of the crash were the following:
-Connect to TM1
-Open a cube view
-Navigate in the view
-Close the cube viewerWITHOUT saving the view
We got an Excel crash.

The problem only occured when the view was not saved before closing the cube viewer.
Are you in this case?

It was complicated because the problem did not appear systematically, and IBM was not able to reproduce. So the only workaround was to save the view before closing the cube viewer.
We don't have the problem any more but dont't ask me what has changed ! All users PC have been changed so myabe a question of Citrix client version ?
