Multiple Wildcard Filter/search

Hi,

can anyone advise whether you can make multiple wildcard searches in TM1? To give an example say that you have a dimension and you don't have the complete name of elements to find. I know you can use filter by wildcard function in subset editor and use * if you don't have the complete name. However if you like to create a view consisting of several elements but in order to find those elements how could you use multiple filter by wildcard? Is it possible? If not any other alternatives?

A dynamic subset can give you that by combining multiple TM1FILTERBYPATTERN statements in one MDX formula. Depending on how flexible you need this subset to be, it could even pull the wildcards to search from a parameter cube.

Thanks, I guess there is no way you can type in multiple conditions directly into filter by wildcard function?
