TM1 Dataspreading issues

Hi All,

I have a very basic spreadsheet pulling data from 2 seperate cubes, A_Fcst & A_Fcst_Input, the former has 2 dimensions for Year and Period, whilst in the latter these are combined into 1, so the dimensionality of the 2 cubes are different with some shared dimensions.

From the A_Fcst cube, I am pulling the Full Year total for the prior financial year, and from the A_Fcst_Input I am pulling the 12 monthly data. The first 2 months from the A_Fcst_Input cube are retrieved using DBR formulae, whilst the latter 10 months are retrieved using DBRW formulae.

My issues is that when I performed a basic repeat left spread from P12 from a DBRW formula referencing A_Fcst_Input, it changed all the values including the values retrieved using DBR and C level values in the A_Fcst cube. According to the TM1 manual DBR formulae cannot be used for data spreading and spreading only effects data in the same cube.

Also, when I simply highlighted the Period 3 to 12 cells and used data spread, the spreading continued on beyond the selected area in the direction of the spread.

This makes 'Data Spreading Notes' chapter in the the TM1 manual completely incorrect!

Has anyone encountered this issue? Have I misread?
