Conversion of String Date to Number

Post by jim wood »

Guys,

Am I going daft? does TIMVL only work on time numeric values? How would I go about converting 28-01-2011 (DD-MM-YYYY) in to a numeric value?

Thanks in advance,

Jim.

Hi Jim:

You looking for DAYNO?

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocente ... dayno.html

Slightly different format needed for the date string, but that should get you from a date string to a TM1 numeric date.

Mike
