It there a way to drill through to the SQL Database using ODBC (like I do it from Architect), but from Perspectives?

I'm not sure I understand your question. The point about drill throughs is that they apply universally in all UIs (note: with the exception of cube view drill-through in EV).

Once you have defined your drill-through process and rule the drill will work in the cube viewer, in Excel Perspectives, in a web sheet, in the web cube viewer, in EV. Drill-through is not a UI specific feature it is central on the server. Just right-click and select "drill-through."
