hi,
i have just finished my training on TM1,now i am into project. The project deal was to rectify the performance orientd issues like
1)It takes lot of time to open a view.
2)System gets hangover
3)Lot of dataentry, few like this.
The model is budgeting.
What i am trying to do is looking after feeders, idea about changing the model and.....
thanks and reagrds.

Use fewer cells. Zero suppress. Use dynamic subsets to limit the views to the relevant data only.viswaraju wrote:hi,

Don't let the system drink as much each night. Ensure that it eats a meal with its beer.viswaraju wrote:2)System gets hangover
Worth testing whether a multi-cube /micro-cube approach (separating input and output) would improve performance. This will vary according to the specific version that you deploy.viswaraju wrote:3)Lot of dataentry, few like this.

This won't be really helpful but I just can't keep myself from saying:
I like issue 2) and proves yet again that alcohol won't improve performance.
Maybe you should introduce Random Breath Tests.

Re: hints for the performance oriented issues.
If you have just finished your training on TM1 then I hope you have someone (or preferably someones) with some significant experience as sorting out performance issues is an area where experience counts.viswaraju wrote:hi,
