Perspective not available

Post by tryinghard »

I am trying to install TM1 on my laptop. Its is 9.5.1 64 Bit. In the choose a product to install, I do not get an option for TM1 perspective. In the past when I installed the 32 bit version I used to get that option.

Not sure if it is a 64 bit problem. I am getting a similar problem for 9.5.2.

Thanks...

And before asking this you did of course read the FAQ, yes?

(Specifically the heading that reads "64 Bit installation package doesn't install 32 bit Perspectives & Architect")
"To them, equipment failure is terrifying. To me, it’s 'Tuesday.' "

My bad. I googled it and did not find anything. Thanks for the link.

One question though, what do I now do to install architect on that laptop? Should I install the 32 bit version which automatically would use the x86 or is there a separate install file for that. Not sure if this is a dumb Q? Anything else I need to take care of. I am fairly new to TM1 and the whole 64 bit environment.

There's a separate install for 32 bit which can be downloaded from the same site as 64 bit. You will need to do a custom install to install Architect on your laptop.
