Cognos Express connecting to TM1

I have look through online and I have yet to find any solution for the problem that i am having now. I have just installed cognos express 9.5 and i cant create a connection to tm1. i remember i use the previous version and i manage to do it. is there a bug in Cognos express 9.5 ?
