Great ourdoor sample database

Anyone here able to advise me where i can get a sample database for Great Outdoor ? i hav been looking around ibm website but still yet to find anything.

help will be highly appreciated.

I'm curious as to why you took the time to provide a link to the IBM web site but didn't bother to actually read the page behind the link. If you had you would have seen that the Great Outdoors files are copied to your machine when you install TM1. They are in the install_location\webcontent\samples\datasources\cubes\TM1\GreatOutdoors\DataFiles directory.

I did read through the page from top to bottom and did go through my directory to look for the files. But the files isnt there. Apparently after Cognos 8.3, the directory is no longer available. So at the moment i am trying to look for the *.zip that contains all the data file so that i can put it into tm1 folder. Currently I am using the new Cognos BI Developer Edition and the file isnt there. If you have the file, are you able to zip the file and attach it on this forum ? do appreciate ya help.

I have just deleted a post which asked for a copy of the sample database. I'd like to offer a gentle reminder of the Legal Issues Concerning Intellectual Property Rights thread, specifically:

Requests For Sample, Materials, Etc
Similarly, posts which either ask for or upload software, documents, or other materials which are not openly available but which normally require a password supplied by the creator / distributor of the materials will be deleted, and may result in a suspension of the poster's account.

The sample database in question is not, as far as is known, available for public download. A request for the zip file is therefore in violation of that policy.

Please note that IBM staff do see this forum.

You need the IBM Cognos samples install kit. The data files are still there in 10.1.1.
