I posted this over the hotfix thread (http://forums.olapforums.com/viewtopic. ... 42&start=0) but maybe no-one read it, so appologies for the double up.
The x86 server HF12 file seems to be corrupt. No matter how many times I download it I can't extract the zip.

Is it just me or is it actually a dud file? I don't know our account number here (being a lowly techo) so I don't have any way to ask/tell IBM about it.
Cheers

I read it, but didn't respond to it because there's not a thing that anyone on the Forum can do for you about it. It would have been something that you needed to speak to IBM support about.radlebb wrote:I posted this over the hotfix thread (http://forums.olapforums.com/viewtopic. ... 42&start=0) but maybe no-one read it, so appologies for the double up.
It's just you. The file (951_HF12_x86_server.zip, 7,454kb) unpacks just fine for me. Make sure that the file size corresponds and that you haven't had your connection time out when you're attempting to download it.radlebb wrote:The x86 server HF12 file seems to be corrupt. Yes you do; find the person who has the account number and/or is designated as your contact person. Though that having been said if you haven't been advised by IBM support to apply that patch and don't know what's in it (since they never include the documentation with the download files, not that you can get to those anyway)... why are you doing it? IBM doesn't recommend applying hot fixes unless they advise you to. The only reason that I put up the details when I get them is so that people can scan through the issues fixed and may have an "a-ha!' moment when they realise that a particular problem relates to them.radlebb wrote:I don't know our account number here (being a lowly techo) so I don't have any way to ask/tell IBM about it.

Re: TM1 HF12 is out though seems to have corrupted zip
I'll try from another machine, see if it will come down ok. Thanks for certifying that the file works for you.
I was getting the patch because we currently run TM1 9.1 and Calumo 10.2 in XP, Excel 2007 with a 2003 server backend.
We switched to TM1 9.5.1, Calumo 10.4 in Windows 7, Excel 2007 (tried 2010 but it doesn't work properly) with 2008 on the backend.
Issue is that the new setup is slow. It takes about 3 times as long to paste a slice in calumo than it did in our XP setup. It's also slow to do the same thing if you log in directly to the server (in fact the server is slower than the clients to do the same paste).
Our support is through a 3rd party and they know even less than I do about the product (I had to get the server working as they gave up) so it's a bit of a pointless exercise going that route.
I saw a few mentions of performance improvements in the release notes you posted so thought I'd give it a shot. I applied the client side patch but it's not any faster so thought I'd see if upgrading the server would have any effect.
Cheers

Worked when I did the download from a different machine. Even though it did re-download each time it ust have had a dud copy stuck in the IE cache someplace.
HF12 wasn't any faster though so if we don't get anywhere with it I'll get in touch Warwick.
Thanks all.
