Hello Friends
I am having an issue with dollar amount roll-up and need your help. I have a cube in which user can enter budget and forecast for future. Issue I am facing with is once users enter budget the total value is showing up more than what user entered. Example user enters 100,000 budget at department level which distributes to divisions at 25,000 each for 4 divisions. When these 4 divisions rolling up I see the total value 100,400 or little more.
I am bit new to TM1 so please help me in troubleshooting the issue
Thanks in advance

Re: TM1 Roll up issue
Most likely caused by a department being in two or more places in the hierarchy that rolls up to the total, in effect, adding it twice (or more).

Re: TM1 Roll up issue
Its not doubling the amount.. It is just adding around 400 dollars for 100,000. I did flush out the data and loaded again. same issue

My thought was the same as Tomok's; it's highly improbable that if you're using spreading it's simply plucking an extra 400 out of the air. You might want to provide more details about exactly how you're doing this (and if it's spreading, what type it is), and the structure of your cube and hierarchies.mk12350 wrote:Its not doubling the amount..
