Qustion About Have String and Number elements both

Hi All,
I have one question about have both string and number element in one dimension.
If i I set the other dimension in cube as string that the number element will not work.
if i set the other dimension in cube as number that the string will not work.
Does anyone has experience about this?

I think you need to explain more fully what you are trying to do and why but you should be aware that in a TM1 cube it is the last dimension that determines whether data can be stored as numeric or string. Therefore it is only whether the element type is string of the last dimension of the cube that matters.
