Hello
When I publish a excel worksheet it becomes a blob on that application folder, i make it public (as an admin). Later when I want to update (over write) the worksheet it doesnt appear on the application upload exisiting box, but it is on perspectives. I think this a bug or something, Ive recently installed this version..
I am on 9.1.4 plain. Somebody experienced something like this?

Re: Application blobs on 9.1.4
How did you save it, as xls or xlsx? How are you editing it? It has been my experience that if you are working on a file that is in xlsx format (Excel 2007) when you go to update you will only see files saved as Excel 2007 even though the ones saved as Excel 2003 are still there. Check the Excel file versions of the published reports.kelso wrote:Hello

We saw this bug on 9.1 too. We ended up upgrading to 9.5 soon after, so we never pursued a fix.kelso wrote:Hello

tomok : 2003
matt: in 9.5 it doesnt seems to happen, well if the worksheet is added as "new" problem is solved.

I recommend you never use "Update" when publishing something to the Application folder, always use "Upload". I used to use "Update" and would occasionally see strange things on TM1Web when the report got re-translated to xml. I've never had that problem when deleting the "old" report and uploading a "new" one. YMMV.kelso wrote:if the worksheet is added as "new" problem is solved.
