.RUX line question

Post by rmwachter »

Hi, when I view my rules files (*.RUX) in a text editor like TextPad, WordPad, or Word there is an initial line in the file: FORMAT==100. This line does not appear when you view the file in the rule editor. Any ideas what this is doing? Is it a display line format command for use by the rule editor? If so, I'm guessing that the text editors don't see this as a command and so display it as a text string. Just a guess.

Thanks.

Yes you are right FORMAT==100 I think is an internal command which is used by the Rules Editor/Server Explorer.

Just leave it in there it will not harm your Rules :D
Cheers!

Thanks! I was hoping that was the case. One less thing to worry about when working with Rules.
