Hi,
i have changed advance rule editor = T in TM1p file, and i saved it. Still it is opening old rule editor window only. Please can you give me the cause why it is not changing?
TM1 9.5
Windows Xp
Excel 2007

have you restarted the server explorer (perspectives or architect) ?

In addition to the pointers you have already received you must ensure that you edit tm1p.ini directly only when Perspectives and Architect are closed. On shutdown the clients write their current settings back to the ini file so if you have made any changes directly while having a client session open then they will be overwritten.

To add to stephen's point, there are multiple ini files on a machine. you need to change the ini file in your login directory.
