Project Lessons Learned
Are there any common lessons learned from OLAP implementation projects with TM1 or BOBJ? We're considering implementing a new OLAP database tool and want to know what the common project pitfalls are (e.g. TM1 takes longer to implement than BOBJ because of all the testing required to eliminate errors in the close process). Thank you.

Re: Project Lessons Learned
Look at what your requirements are. Do you need it for what if? Do you need it to handle large volumes? Then I would look at the likes of the olapedia or the OLAP Report to gain a grasp of the respective tools strengths and weaknesses. (They all have them.) Then I guess you should choose the best couple that fit your requirements and get them in for a proof of concept.
I hope that helps,
Jim.
PS. You could ask people on this forum but opinions and experinces can differ. I guess most people on here would lean towards TM1.
