Limitations on the number of rows in xdi file

Post by tosravan »

Hi,

I want to know if we have any limitations on the number of rows in xdi file (TM1 v 9.4, Excel 2007).

We have over 14,000 rows now. It was working fine until i added few more elements, and out of them some are not added to the dimension.

All the new N level elements are inserted but few of the C level are not inserted into the dimension. Am i missing something here?

Thanks you,
Sravan

I'd suggest re-checking your consolidation definitions to make sure that they're correct. I don't have a 9.4 environment, but I've checked a 28,861 row .xdi using both Excel 2003 and Excel 2007 with a 9.0 environment; all of the N levels and consolidations work as expected.

The other possibility is that you've just missed them in the subset editor; it only buffers a certain number of elements at a time so it's possible that you hit what appeared to be the bottom of the dimension, then more elements popped up after that.
