I haven't been able to find a download for EV on the IBM site. From another post in the forum it looks like it gets bundled with a TM1 install sometimes, but it doesn't appear to be available together with 9.5.1 yet.
Is it always bundled, or can you get a separate install? If you can get a separate install, where can I get it from on the IBM site?

Are you going via PartnerWorld > Software Access Catalog ?
Send me an email with the links you are using and I'll let you know if they're correct. Unless you start from the right place in the IBM web labyrinth you're doomed even if you have the right access level ...

I shall refrain from asking "why would you want to"Martin Ryan wrote:I haven't been able to find a download for EV on the IBM site. From another post in the forum it looks like it gets bundled with a TM1 install sometimes, but it doesn't appear to be available together with 9.5.1 yet.

Start here:
https://www-112.ibm.com/software/howtob ... ndservices
Log in, click your way through several screens, see all of the downloads that you're entitled to. One of them should be a TM1 with EV package. In my case I can see a package named "IBM Cognos TM1 plus Executive Viewer v9.4.0 for Windows Multilingual eAssembly(CR8C6ML)". If I expand that, one of the options is the stand alone EV 9.4. (Two, actually; 32 and 64 bit.)
For EV 9.1 to 9.3 you have to go to the Cognos Legacy download link.
For EV 9.4 documentation, go here:

Re: Download Executive Viewer
The latest EV version which I have seen is EV 9.4 MR1.
I believe that's the latest version to-date.
Does IBM have any plans of releasing any newer version soon?

I was just told my boss wants me to go to the IOD in October and that was the first question that popped into my head to ask while I was there.rkaif wrote:Does IBM have any plans of releasing any newer version soon?

It is strange that public information from IBM on EV seems to be a bit lacking but I believe version 9.5 of EV is scheduled for release soon, as EV is in the same product management stream as CX the release will probably coincide with CX 9.5 (... but that's just a guess, who knows for sure? Maybe someone from IBM could enlighten us?)
